I too am being burned by Chase's bait and switch tatics. Never late on a payment on their 4.99% rate. I was even told by Chase's phone people that my minimium payment would be $410 before I took the loan. Take the loan and after a few months and now they what $990 per month min. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! As there bait and switch policies will drive some good people to bankruptcy if legal. But they did tell on the phone that if I took a higher interest rate I could keep the $400 min payment.
