Back in Sept. 2005 Chase Bank gave me a 3.99% fixed for the life of the loan. It even said Auto loan on the check stub. Now Jan.2009 they are going to charge a 10.00 monthly fee, plus they made my payment 2 1/2 times more than what I was paying. They told me if I sign an agreement of a new interest of 7.99% I could send in a payment of $126.00 min. If I do not agree than I had to send them $315.00. I can not believe them changing the terms, and that $10.00 fee every month even when there is no balance. We the tax payers are bailing out the banks and they are turning around and sticking it to the public. I never received prior notice that they where going to do this. This is extortion.
