I, too, was offered 2.99% fixed FOR THE LIFE OF THE LOAN. The $10.00 monthly service fee is ridiculous and a slap in the face to those of us who actually pay our bills on time every month. I have never been late on a payment in my five years as their customer, no matter how drastic our financial situation has become. I feel like I am being punished for being an outstanding customer. Too bad my morals stand in the way of maxing out my credit card and never paying them back a dime. Boy, would that feel great!
