I feel for you....you have it worse than most of us...at least I still have 3.99%..but Never go paperless as you have described there is no way to remind you or your spouse that a payment is due. If something happened to me..the paper bill comes in so anyone including my spouse would know what bills I have. By the way...Citibank is reputable and wish I could move to them with the same rates..but they are not offering them at this time.
