Subject: Chase Billing practices

Been a Chase CC holder for 9 years, same card. Have never had a late payment. Last statement got a $39 late fee. Apparently Chase changed my grace period due from 25 to 20 days. I have paid this bill on the 10th of the month for years. My payment arrived and was posted 1 day past the due date and the late charge hit. I called Chase and spoke to 2 different reps. They couldnt take the late fee off. I told them I was going to cancel the card at my next convienence. Too bad, I have never had an issue with this company, I feel worse than they seem too. They went ahead and changed my due date but would not take the late fee off. A scam to get a one time $39. How many others did they due this to? Class action seems to be the only way to hurt these folks.
