To those of you who accepted the 7.99% rate in order to get payments reduced to 2% of balance: be sure that your account has had those terms properly applied. Billing statements on two of our accounts still carried the old terms (min. pmt., int. rates, and $10 fee) even several weeks after the change, and we were charged a $39 late fee because we paid according to 2% of balance, not 5% of balance.

We were able to have the penalty reversed, and confirmed (a second time) that the new terms are in effect. We'll see if that's still true next month...
