Subject: CHASE - Small Claims Court!
Comment:
I too have been hit by the loanshark practices of Chase. I have had the phone calls (they will no longer talk to me). I was going to call them 200 times a day, but I dont want to give them any ammo.
Everyone thinks it will accomplish nothing, but I cant wait for the class action lawsuits to go wrap up. Odds are that Chase has already calculated it can keep up the court thing going until the new rules in 2010/2011 take effect and then stop their unethical practices.
Therefore, I am taking them to small claims court. $35 and a few hours of my time. Totally worth it. If I can help it, I would like one of my local tv channels outside the court room when it happens.
I estimate that if every single person affected takes them to small claims, it will cost them quite a bit to send all the attorneys around in both travel and time costs.
Any opinions?
